The Women’s Studies and Research Association and the Organization for Support of Women with Disabilities IZ KRUGAVOJVODINA brought together members of Novi Sad women’s networks, civil society organizations, initiatives and experts to meet on the meeting of Women’s Day.

A meeting dedicated to women’s activism and the women’s movement was held on March 10 from 12.00–14.00 at the premises of the Organization IZ KRUGAVOJVODINA.

Emerita Professor Dr. Svenka Savic, one of the founders of Women’s Studies and Research, gave a brief history of the Novi Sad women’s movement, from the 1990s to the present. The participants of the meeting jointly mapped the resources of the women’s movement in Novi Sad: what potentials, knowledge, experience, information, values and material resources we have, what we can offer each other, and what resources we need for our further work. The meeting was moderated by Ana Bu in front of Women’s Studies.

The meeting was organized with the aim of identifying and connecting existing resources, as well as identifying possible synergy, cooperation and conditions for better utilization of existing resources.
